Business Analyst Vacancy

Role:                        Business Analyst

Reports to:            Business owner – Head of PRIME

Duration:               6 months with 6 months renewal

 

Role Description:

Understand and analyse the needs of the business where PRIME is active in.  Work on projects to define, shape, review and validate requirements to Change processes, products and service offerings.  Evaluate and recommend solutions to address the identified business requirements to drive business improvements

 

Core Accountabilities:

  • Interviews and surveys stakeholders to assess and document business process across the organizations
  • Interfaces with members to collect and analyze information
  • Works with the Business owner to ensure documentation shows complete picture of member’s needs
  • Ensures performance stability
  • Develops picture of To-Be processes and establishes gap analysis between AS-IS and TO-BE situation
  • Creates Business Requirement and meetings documents
  • Develops means to measure potential solutions to quantitatively evaluate process alternatives
  • Consolidates input from different stakeholders in order to build a complete business case and supporting papers
  • Assess feasibilities of proposed solutions.

 

Essential qualities: 

  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Minimum 5  years’ experience business analysis
  • Experience in product development and postal sector related projects is a plus (Cargo Carrier, International trading, Customs)
  • Strategic thinking
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Fast learner
  • Availability to travel
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • High quality interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Problem solving oriented
  • Good presentational skills, English is the work language, proficiency written and spoken
  • Proficient with MS Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

PRIME Wins Cross Border Growth Award at World Post & Parcel Awards 2016

PRIME is very proud to announce its achievements at the 2016 Annual World Post & Parcel Awards where it won the inaugural Cross Border Growth category.

PRIME has experienced phenomenal cross-border growth in a short space of time, and our results speak for themselves:

  • Today, PRIME actively engages with 140 Posts and has become an organisation of true global reach.
  • Volumes have increased 648% in six years with PRIME trade topping close to 300 million items annually (exceeding the aggregate growth for ecommerce over the same period).
  • Payments-for-performance between Posts hit one quarter billion euros in 2015, an incredible 3,737% increase in six years.
  • Membership continues to grow. In 2015, three new members joined PRIME to take advantage of the cross-border benefits.
  • Members using the Global Customer Service System also grew from 103 members in 2014 up to 112 members in 2015 (8%). This demonstrates that Posts are using the platform and reaping its rewards in seamless customer service.
  • In the most recent Hensey Consulting Report 2014, 100% of members interviewed confirmed that the PRIME Management Team provides great support to the members.
  • 33% (71) members signed up to the PRIME Website within the first three months of launch, which was 64% ahead of project target.
  • PRIME continues to innovate with the introduction of new services, for instance IMRS, a completely new Returns product. This has undergone a streamlined development, from conception to pilot to launch within 24 months.
  • The Average Scanning Rate in the main delivery destinations is +95%, combine that with a D+1/2 service promise on average in European Countries, and understandably larger countries take longer. This is an exceptional level of service provided to the low-cost tracked packet market. These remarkable quality metrics demonstrate continuous improvement in quality across the PRIME membership base, and that PRIME members have their employees fully backing the PRIME service.

Together, we have transformed the way Posts offer services for cross-border tracked packets, enabling our members to compete effectively, and significantly grow their cross-border volumes and revenues.
