The Registered letter service provides the sender with a receipt on posting and the destination Post obtains a signature from the recipient on delivery.
- The Registered Service covers loss or damage up to the replacement value stated on the receipt (subject to terms and conditions). This can vary from country to country but compensation is normally for a small amount. Most countries do not offer higher insured cover on this service.
- PRIME Registered mail can be tracked by phone or online.
- Customers using PRIME Registered service can request a copy of the delivery signature.
Track and Trace
PRIME's exchange of transaction data based on the barcode on each letter creates a progress history about individual Register items that can be tracked by Posts' customer service staff. On the other hand, the data can be uploaded by the Posts to their own website, in their own languages, so that customers can access delivery and despatch information.

Letters' CSS provides information, at both item and despatch/consignment level, to the Posts' customer service people's who use PRIME's web- based Customer service system (CSS). This web based customer service system assures faster reply to customer enquiries.
